REWARD

September 23, 2015 by Cosette

“The judgments of the Lord are true . . . and in keeping of them there is great reward” (Psalm 19:9, 11). “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you. . . . Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven” (Matthew 5:11–12). “Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour” (1 Corinthians 3:8). “The scripture saith, . . . The labourer is worthy of his reward” (1 Timothy 5:18). “Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward” (2 John 1:8). “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:12).

Golden thought: The laborer is worthy of his reward.
